ApplyTexas was created through a collaborative effort between the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and the colleges and universities represented on the site. The goal of the project is to offer a centralized means for both Texas and non-Texas students to apply to the many outstanding post-secondary institutions available in Texas.

With more than 600 Member colleges and only one application, The Common Application is comprised of a rich and diverse membership – colleges that are public, private, large, small, secular, and religious. No other college application system matches the diversity of institutions accessible through The Common Application, which is why more than 1 million students, counselors and teachers rely on this every year.

Make Me a Freshman is an online checklist generator that shows students exactly how and when to apply to college and for financial aid. There are no costs for students or counselors. Applying to college can be complicated. With Make Me a Freshman, simply choose your college and financial aid to see all of your specific requirements and deadlines! Plus, Counselors, teachers, and mentors can track their students' progress.
